MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin pop mainstream has been impacted by his international impact. In 2017 the song he released in 2016 Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. The artist released his debut long-player ADN for the Medellin-based Sony-distributed La Industria Inc. It peaked at 8 on the Top Latin Albums charts. Following that year, he collaborated with Ozuna on the Top Five smash Vaina Loca. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel for Mala Influencia and released the album Dopamina in the following year. He appeared in 2021 in a duo performance with TINI on her cult streaming single Maldita Foto. The smash hit La Bachata from 2000 was first released in 2023. Turizo was born into a family of musicians his mother and older brother also are musicians. He's said in interviews that music is compulsory. In his childhood he was taught how to play the saxophone, piano as well as guitar. His first choice of career was to become veterinarian, his brother Julian encouraged him to take singing lessons from the famous Cuban.
