Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter born in Mexico, was born to an adored family of musicians. Her childhood was spent listening to classical and old boleros, along with the traditional songs of romantics and ranchero. Ana loves Tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas as well as any drama. At the age 16, she started singing and studying music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started giving her a more intensive training in singing. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. As a student and young professional, she was a part of numerous chamber ensembles and opera choirs in Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. After 2000, she emigrated to in the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then, in 2007 she moved to her new home in Southern California. She is currently performing the traditional Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. as a music teacher and musician Ana is a dedicated participant in many projects in the community because of her love and passion for music. Ana is a previous member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana thanks Inland Master Chorale members for their permission to play classic Latin American song.
